Amazing small town, mom and pop bar and pizza spot. The saying “it’s more fun to eat at a bar than to drink at a restaurant” sums this place up nicely. Great local flair. Located in a great downtown, pizza was amazing, service was local and real. Prices were more than fair. Next time you cross Iowa on 80, stop!

The pizza was great with fresh toppings, plenty of cheese, and a crisp crust on the outside layer and a chewy center with great flavor. We have had pizza from many different places in the country, and usually, a mom and pop establishment just isn't that great, but this place has it right. It's a little different when it comes to decor, but they are doing them, and that is fine when the food takes center stage. Friendly people round the place out. Just don't expect 5 star dining because that isn't what they are going for. It is a bar environment that happens to make excellent pizza.

Definitely a mom & pop shop I'll make a note to come back to when I can make it back to this town. This lovely little meat lover pie was just 7. Very cheesy and a good amount of toppings.

There is no short cuts with this pizza. Ask for a " Herb's Heaper" The only place in IOWA to get this one of a kind pizza....

First time customer and referred by return customer. They had a pepperoni & Pineapple pizza and I had the Cubana sandwich. Both were on point. Thank you to the crew running the show!

Great pizza and a quintessential dive bar experience. I recommend the Taco pizza! Staff is friendly, pizza is delicious and drinks are affordable! Always a good time at Herbs!
